I deeply appreciate your diligent efforts to place the History of the Lord’s peculiar covenant children within the political, military, social, economic, and religious context of their times. The reasons to remain unshaken, or not, are consistently the same, but the condensing telescope of looking back through time makes the choices made seem more obviously wrong or right, but there is much to learn from your more more detailed sharing of the complex fabric of their existence that can reveal how vulnerable we are to making choices heavily affected by the pernicious and powerful worldly influences of our last-days times.
